EDeX connects data in a true many-to-many platform. There are no one-to-one unique maps translating data between each particular sending and receiving system. A system only needs to be connected with the EDeX technology through the universal language to the UpNet virtual network. Once connected to the UpNet virtual network the system has the ability to have real time data collaboration with any other system on the network. A true many-to-many system, like UpNet�s EDeX powered system, eliminates significant time and cost in the translation and communication process. A many-to-many system also removes a significant percentage of the variables that can cause problems and delays in the integration and collaboration of systems.
As a true many-to-many system, the EDeX technology provides the opportunity to maintain a connection of multiple systems, including legacy systems with only marginal use, and to expand to facilitate the integration of new data sources as they are developed without making changes or need to do additional programming to the pre-existing connections.
